LL's first birthday party was a blast (for baby and for her parents)!!
We were SO excited to see so many of our friends and family members stop by to celebrate this big day for our little girl! She absolutely loved being doted on by so many people and didn't seem to be overwhelmed by the crowd. Some mild fussiness did eventually set in once we past her usual afternoon nap time by over an hour. However, we were amazed at how happy and calm she was, considering that she's not used to groups of people. A big "thank you" to those who brought food or helped set up or clean - we appreciated it.

Here are a couple of videos of her diving into her very own birthday cake I made her. She was timid at first, as she sized up exactly what this pink thing was. However, once that sweet frosting touched her taste buds it was full-speed ahead.
