What a big girl you are becoming! You now give "real hugs" to mommy and daddy, with your arms wrapped around their heads. You pinch your cereal puffs and put them in your mouth all by yourself. You hold and drink from your sippy cup all by yourself. You sit up on the floor and play with your box of toys for long periods of time. You like bouncing and spinning the little wheels on your Jumperoo. You get really peaceful and curious when we take our daily stroller rides around the neighborhood. You have a bright pink sun hat that is slightly too large and, thus, absolutely adorable on you. You LOVE when mommy and daddy read books to you - in fact, you now take a book out of your box and then look up at us until we read it to you. Your favorite books are "Chicka Chicka ABC", "Little Hands" touch and feel book, and "The Very Busy Spider". You get relaxed when taking a bath. You play with your hair (what there is of it, that is) when you are getting tired. You wear some article of pink clothing every day (I wonder who is responsible for that). You stare at daddy and like to touch his face because he is your favorite. When daddy calls on the phone you get huge eyes and kick your little feet in excitement. You give a sweet smile when mommy sings to you. You still LOVE sweet potatoes but we had to limit you to a half a serving a day max, as your cheeks started turning orange from too much vitamin A. You love examining the baby in the mirror. Your favorite toy is the TV remote but since you aren't allowed to play with it, your second favorite toy is your Baby Einstein "radio". You are a really good napper during the day, although if you decide you don't want a nap you cannot be swayed. You have really strong legs and can stand on your own for very short periods of time while holding onto furniture. You still haven't started crawling but we suspect that you will go straight to walking because you don't like being on your tummy. You let out a little sigh when mommy gets to the last page of "Goodnight Moon", because you know it's night-night time then. You have huge smiles and adorable laughs that cause your parents to be completely obsessed with you. You bring so much joy into mommy and daddy's lives!

LL's Story
Baby A (our "Little Lamb") was born on May 20, 2009 at 29 weeks gestation. Mom was on bedrest from the beginning of March until baby's arrival due to a condition called Placenta Previa. She finally had to come out via emergency C-section on May 20th. LL, who was 3 lbs. at birth, spent 8 weeks in the NICU, receiving the BEST care from the nurses there. We were finally able to take her home with us on July 6th and were SO happy to be able to spend every moment with our little girl. She's received some occupational therapy and now is in speech therapy, but is basically a normal, healthy, very sweet little girl!
