It's been super busy around here for the past couple of weeks, so I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know we are, in fact, still alive and doing well. =)
LL is still healthy and we're still aiming on April 1st as her official entrance to the public world. We didn't end up giving her the April RSV vaccination due to a lot of confusion between the insurance company, her pediatrician, the pharmacy that provides the vaccine, the home health care nurse program, and us. Long story short, we didn't give her the shot within 35 days of the last one, so we're all done with RSV shots now. She should be OK without it, as long as we just keep her out of the public until April, so we're not too worried.
I've been taking baby out on stroller rides pretty much every day, especially the past 3 days which have been absolutely BEAUTIFUL here! She is so cute in her bright pink sun hat. She loves it too, because it means that she can now study her surroundings without being blinded by the sun.
She's become quite the pro at pinching her cereal puffs on her highchair tray and placing them in her mouth all on her own. It's been neat watching the progression of her motor skills. She loves to sit on the floor with her box of toys next to her. She will pick out each toy, one by one, and play/attempt to eat it before becoming fascinated with another one. It's also really nice that she is able to entertain herself so well, even though I really enjoy playing with her all day long.
Daddy is just getting over a flu/cold/we're not sure exactly what it is. It started Saturday with a sore throat and sinus headache and got pretty bad on Sunday. But he felt better on Monday and so he hasn't missed work. Anyways, he said he feels back at 100% now and, thankfully, baby and I haven't shown any symptoms of getting whatever it was that he had.
OK, gotta go...have a great rest of the week everyone. Hopefully I'll get a chance to post some photos or videos in a couple of days here.
