Guess Who Can Almost Sit Up on Her Own...

She's been sitting up for a several weeks now, first with the Boppy pillow behind her and, more recently, with me sitting behind her/next to her, to hold either her hand or stabilize her legs. She is just working on keeping her balance (not rolling to one side or the other), but almost has the concept down.

Yesterday, Daddy was working with her again on this new task and we managed to snap a few pictures of her sitting on her own. It should be noted, however, that she did topple over about 5 seconds after each photo was taken. Nonetheless, we are SO excited for her! She is acting more like a toddler in some ways, which is both wonderful and surreal to us - is this the same baby who was so tiny and so weak just 8 months ago? It's a change we couldn't be happier about. =)
