Greetings friends and family!
We've had a really good week here, as baby has been sleeping somewhat better lately, meaning a less fussy baby and mommy. =) She has been rolling around like crazy - she'll go back to tummy several times in a row. When she wants to get a toy, she mostly rolls over and back and might scoot up slightly. I am almost wondering if she'll decide that she doesn't need this whole "crawling" business at all. We'll see.
Her dexterity is improving every day and she now reaches for and grabs successfully everything in sight. She figured out how to spin the little balls and wheels on her Jumperoo a few weeks ago and is getting better and better at holding her sippy cup on her own (she just needs help lifting it high enough to get the water out cause it's a little too heavy still).
LL got her second-to-last RSV shot this morning and I am SO thrilled that she hasn't gotten sick at all this winter. It has been difficult to keep her isolated at the house for so long (mommy is getting cabin fever, herself) but it is so good to see that our sacrifices have paid off already in that she is healthy. Once she gets her last RSV vaccination in March, we will essentially be out of the woods for her catching it. Since the seasonal flu and H1N1 are nearly over with also, we are anxious to take her out more and more, beginning in March and April.
Here are just a couple of photos of her from the last week or two...
