It's been crazy around here, with daddy traveling on business and our days packed with errands, play dates, stroller rides, etc. now that I can take baby out and about. So, I will post some photos and video soon, hopefully, of her newest accomplishments.
She LOVES to walk around the house when I hold her hands. If she had her way she would constantly be standing up and exploring. She also loves to stand up and hold onto the edge of chairs or tables. She's even pulled herself up to standing (by grabbing the leg or edge of a kitchen chair) from sitting in my lap. Still no crawling, but we are doing a lot more tummy time and trying to encourage it, as the physical therapist at the NICU Follow-Up Clinic explained that it's important for preemies to learn to crawl (apparently, they sometimes skip this step due to differences in their muscles...I can't remember the specifics but it was fascinating hearing about it at the time). We will be having a PT from our county school district coming out next Tuesday for an evaluation of LL. If she seems to be "behind" in any area, according to her due date, we will set up regular appointments for a PT to come to the house and work with her.
Baby met another new friend last Thursday, a happy 2 year-old boy "M". Hilarious part of the evening - after his daddy introduced LL to him he exclaims, "She cute!!" This would make for a great story 25 years down the road, at their wedding. Just kidding! Don't worry...no arranged marriages for LL. =)
Gotta run. I'm going to wake up baby from her nap and bring her over to see her other friend, baby "E" again. Lots of love to all of you from the three of us!

Kelley said most of the preemies at the center all need PT for crawling, so don't get concerned if she does - it will really help!
